This is a site for my paintings, my name is Luana Schneider and I love painting and creating beautiful objects for both myself and others to enjoy. The photo gallery link is where you may go to see all of the paintings that are available. When you click the buy me tab it is going to take you to the catalog site, where you may purchase either with a credit card or through PayPal. All of my paintings are priced with shipping included, so there are no hidden charges. The painting(s) will ship the next day after payment and will ship UPSP Proirity Mail, insured and signature required. My paintings and art are a deeply integral part of who I am. Please find links on how to contact me and links to other sites we approve of at the bottom of this page. The following information is in regards to how I started out in the arts. My artistic career started 14 years ago, working in interior decorating; I specialized in faux and decorative painting. Using walls and furniture to capture color, texture and nature, I eventually increased my potential canvases by painting on different items, from canvas to wood to ceramic tile to furniture. I started experimenting with painting on just about anything I could get my hands on. Being from a small town in Eastern Kansas with five boys and a daughter who love to hunt with their father, inspires my love of pheasants, quail, deer and nature. I often go along with my camera to capture different images for my paintings. We live in the country next to a large pond that brings bald eagles into our area for the geese. Seeing these amazing birds close up is an awe inspiring experience that I try to capture in my paintings. My dog, Sapphire, is half Husky and half Australian Shepard, she looks like a blue eyed wolf, therefore becoming my muse for wolves in my art.  I love brilliant vivid colors and deep intense images. Vibrancy moves something deep in the soul that thrills most anyone. I mainly use acrylics for their movement and ability to dry quickly. I am dabbling in oils at this time and will have some new pieces available in that medium before long. Like many artists, art maintains my sanity, becomes my therapy and escape from life. By recreating what I see from deep within, I derive peace and I hope the same comes through for those that view my art. My paintings whether in acrylics or oils are available framed, either with standard frames or custom made frames. |
 The majority of my current work is on canvas, but I venture into the odd saw blade or scraps of unique wood from time to time. My wildlife paintings range from pheasants, quail, deer, wolves, eagles, fish, ducks and more. Expect my work to range from very large acrylic or oil paintings, 30 inches X 40 inches to small acrylic or oil paintings at approximately 10 inches X 14 inches. All of the paintings are my original works. From wildlife paintings to plaster creations to furniture, they are not available for reproduction.
